I’m interested in gaming, software engineering and selfhosting/server administration, especially backend techniques, using PHP as my main programming language. I am primarily familiar with Laravel as framework and am very familiar with legacy code.
I’ve been programming in PHP since I was 12, and since then I’ve learned a lot, started and completed many projects, and scrapped quite a few. In 2016, I decided to pursue professional training in this field in Germany, and since 2019 I’ve been a certified Computer Science Expert in the subject area Software Development. That same year, I started my current job and worked my way up from software developer to tech lead.
In my day-to-day work, I work as a Tech Lead for a Cologne-based e-mobility company. After working as a People Lead for about a year, I gave up that role and went back to being a full-time software engineer. The current focus is on billing processes for charging sessions and contract customers. This includes everything from the calculation of individual positions to invoicing and the handling of taxes.
